ImpactPlus
In 2023, Achmea and Achmea Foundation also jointly organised Impact Plus: a growth programme helping social entrepreneurs in the Netherlands to professionalise their businesses and increase their social impact. The theme of Impact Plus in 2023 was "Smart Sharing & Reuse."
“Nice to see that the entrepreneurs' business models are steeped in making the world a little bit better.”
Lidwien Suur (Achmea Executive Board)
For this edition of the Impact Plus Growth Programme as well, eight entrepreneurs have been selected to increase their impact. These social entrepreneurs are participating in Centraal Beheer's Growth Accelerator programme. For nine months, inspiring growth experts and experienced coaches will guide a small group of entrepreneurs.
With the Impact Plus programme, we are making an impact on the following Sustainable Development Goals:
- SDG 3: Good health and well-being: the theme in 2019 was “Together and not alone”.
- SDG 8: Fair work and economic growth: the theme in 2020 was “Unrecognised talent: from safety net to springboard”.
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities: the theme in 2022 was “Healthy and Sustainable Living for All”.
- SDG 13: Climate Action: the theme in 2023 was "Smart Sharing & Reuse."
“The social entrepreneurs in this edition of Impact Plus are all creative and driven. It’s very special to be able to contribute to this from the Achmea Foundation.”
Susan Blankhart, Achmea Foundation Board
